I think Italy is famous for its bureaucracy, but until you actually live it, you can’t possibly believe it is so complicated and slow to obtain the permit for a small country road!
We started the long journey in December 2015 and we passed a lot of different authorities with each their different requests. One year later, I started to believe it is easier to make a highway from Milan to Rome, but as by miracle, in December 2016 no official authority had any objections to make and the town of Cinigiano could officially write down the permit.
Luckily the construction company had men available and we could start working almost immediately.
There still is quite some work to do, but as you see, this is a huge step in the right direction.
